Motability provides thousands of people with a brand new worry-free car. With Motability everything is taken care of so you can enjoy the freedom to drive. Get a car through Motability and insurance, maintenance, RAC breakdown recovery, servicing, tyres and windscreens are all included at no extra cost. You lease your car on a 3 year Contract Hire and get a brand new car every three years.

How it works:

Some cars or models are available at less or no more than the cost of the weekly allowance, these cars are advertised as NIL or £0 Advance Payment. While other more expensive cars or models require an additional payment (known as an Advance Payment) to cover the cost of the lease - this is set by Motability and is a one off payment only.

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR MOTABILITY?

Anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment, the Armed Forces Independence Payment or the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement, can exchange this weekly payment to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair through Motability. Insurance, maintenance, servicing and breakdown assistance are also included in the lease.
