Saltmarine is celebrating a landmark achievement after securing Used Car Dealer of the Year at the 2025 Motor Trader Industry Awards.
Held at the prestigious Grosvenor Hotel on Park Lane, London The Motor Trader Industry Awards, often described as the “Oscars of the motoring industry” attracted more than 800 guests, making it the largest and most high-profile awards event Saltmarine has attended to date.
Representing the company on the night were Marketing Manager Ryan Forsythe and Hyundai Brand Manager Graeme Blevins.
Saltmarine had been shortlisted in four categories:
- Best use of Social Media
- Digital Initiative of the Year
- Rising Star (Patricia McMahon)
- Used Car Dealer of the Year (100+ cars)
We were delighted to take home the top award in the Used Car Dealer category for retailers stocking over 100 cars - one of the most competitive categories at the awards.
Marketing Manager Ryan Forsythe said:
“Just to be shortlisted at these awards is a massive achievement, but to come home with a trophy is magnificent, especially when you look at the calibre of the competition.”
Dealer Principal Michael Salt added:

This latest accolade follows our recent victory at the 2025 Motor Trader Independent Awards, where we were crowned Fastest Growing Used Car Dealer - an honour we’ve now won two years in a row.
And the momentum may not stop there. We’re also shortlisted for two further awards at the Car Dealer Magazine Used Car Awards next week, so we may have even more reason to celebrate - wish us luck!
