Saltmarine announce 2 year sponsorship deal with Dungannon Swifts Academy
Stangmore Park, home to our local premiership football team Dungannon Swifts, have been competing in the top tier of Northern Irish football since 2003/2004.
When the opportunity came up to sponsor their hugely successful youth development programme, we didn’t need VAR to help make a decision.
The academy develops players from U14 right up to U20 level, many of which go on to play for the Swifts first team and other clubs across the province and the UK.
A number of academy players have gone on to represent Northern Ireland at international level including former Celtic player Niall McGinn, Terry Devlin at Portsmouth and most notably, rising superstar Conor Bradley at Liverpool.
Swifts first team Head Coach Rodney McAree commented, “The academy plays a pivotal role in producing players for our first team and as a springboard for those who go on to progress their careers elsewhere. The support form Saltmarine will be invaluable in helping us to continue to develop and produce talent at the youth level.”
Vice Chairman Adrian Whittle added, "Having such a high-profile local sponsor on board for the next 2 years is fantastic. The kits look great and I know the lads will get a real buzz wearing them”.
This latest sponsorship announcement comes directly after our commitment to support Bourneview Mill Minis youth football team.
Saltmarine Dealer Principal Michael Salt commented, “As a Dungannon based business we felt it was an excellent opportunity to support our local football club and plays a part in our wider strategy to support young sporting talent in our local community and across Mid Ulster."
