By simply taking a test drive in a Hyundai i20, one lucky customer from Saltmarine Hyundai in Dungannon has won tickets to see Northern Ireland play at UEFA EURO 2016 in France.
The dream football-fan prize was part of Hyundai’s sponsorship of UEFA EURO 2016 and saw customers across the country enter a prize draw by taking a test drive in a Hyundai i20. The top prize included flights, hospitality and tickets to the Northern Ireland - Ukraine match in Lyon, France on 16 June.
Lucky winner Robert McConnell from Portadown, said, “I couldn’t believe it at first, I thought someone was playing a joke. Then we found out that flights, transport and accommodation were included. It’s like a dream I can’t thank Saltmarine and Hyundai enough and can’t wait to go.”

The Hyundai Euro 2016 Test Drive Event forms part of Hyundai Motors ‘Real Fans First’ campaign, which is part of Hyundai’s sponsorship of UEFA EURO 2016. The ‘Real Fans First’ campaign includes a ‘Digital Fan Park’ - an interactive online space created for football fans, prize draws to win UEFA EURO 2016 tickets and a competition to win a Hyundai i20.

Hyundai Motor is also running the ‘Real Fans Licence’ campaign, which allows participants to enter a raffle to be chauffeured by a Hyundai Tucson shuttle service from airports to hotels and football stadiums in France during the preliminary rounds of UEFA EURO 2016.
To further celebrate Hyundai’s ongoing sponsorship of the Euros, Hyundai is also offering limited editions of its i10 and i20 GO! Special Edition models. The 2,000 limited-edition models are based on the popular and generously specified i10 1.0 SE and i20 1.2 SE, and build on the brand’s ‘Real Deals for Real Fans’ advertising campaign.
Priced at £9,545 (on the road) for the i10 GO! and £11,545 (on the road) for the i20GO!, the stylish models are offered in exclusive Passion Red (pearlescent), Polar White (solid) or Aqua Sparkling (metallic). Only 1,250 versions of the i10 GO! and 750 i20 GO! models are being made available, with dealers making a £500 contribution when customers take the 5.9% APR Personal Contract Purchase through Hyundai Finance.
