  • Dealership staff will operate new fleet of fully-electric Hyundai IONIQ cars
  • Saltmarine’s 200 solar panels will help to charge own and customer vehicles
  • Electric Range Challenge competition for customers to WIN a stay in a luxury bubble dome at Finn Lough Resort

  • Saltmarine Hyundai has committed to ‘be green in 2019’ with the arrival of five fully-electric Hyundai IONIQ models for its staff alongside a host of other green initiatives. The Dungannon dealer group also has 200 solar panels, six electric car chargepoints, low-energy lighting, and comprehensive recycling processes for tyres, oil, and paper.

The dealership is offering customers who take a 24-hour test drive in the new Hyundai IONIQ Electric the chance to win a stay at the fabulous Lough Finn Resort, Fermanagh by achieving the best score in the “Saltmarine Hyundai Electric Range Challenge”. The initiative not only allows customers to experience the fun, capability and practicality of electric cars, but also encourages drivers across Northern Ireland to do their bit for the environment with the winner getting close to nature with a midweek stay in a luxury bubble dome at Finn Lough Resort complete with afternoon tea for two and pedal kayak experience.

Michael Salt, Saltmarine Hyundai Dealer Principal, said: “We’re keen to help our customers be greener in 2019 and we’re showing our commitment to the cause by investing in the cleanest cars, plus green ways to generate power to help shrink our carbon footprint. Our staff are trained to help local motorists understand which sort of plug-in car could be right for them – so we look forward to helping more drivers to go green in 2019!”

Plus you can also get an additional £500 OFF any new Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid or Plug-in Hybrid model if you take a test drive and purchase from Jan - Mar 2019 in our Try & Buy Event.

Hyundai has invested heavily in low and ultra-low emission vehicle technologies in recent years – a commitment that paid-off in 2018, with its hybrid, electric, and plug-in hybrid IONIQ model range achieving 45.2% growth, year-on-year, in the UK.

During 2018 Hyundai also launched its first fully-electric SUV – the KONA. The 279-mile range electric model made a strong start, contributing to the brand’s 8,220 eco-model registrations in the UK over the past year.
